Cadillac Repair: A/C compressor for 94sts 4.6 notrhstar, test procedures, e mail

My A/C compressor has locked up and im going to replace it on my own but ive been told there would be a special tool i would need to remove it. if so could you tell me the name of it so i can know if i am able to rent it from the loacal parts store also i know about checking and putting the oil in the new compressor but are there any other tips diagrams for removal or installation you may have to help me if so i would really appreciate it. You will need simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture.
