Cadillac Repair: 991 caddy missing when engine warms up.., o2 sensor, fuel filter

QUESTION: I have a 1991 caddy deville. It aways starts right up. But there is a slight roughness to its idle. When the car is running or driving for 20 to 45 mins. It starts missing when accelerating or while i am on the freeway and tring to pass someone in the passing gear.It seems when its cold it runs great but when it gets hot she starts missing. I  changed the fuel filter,plugs and wires. Any ideas? Also the wires in the o2 sensor seem to be burnt. should i replace the o2 and the wires next? thanks for you help..

ANSWER: IS or HAS the CHECK ENGINE light ever illuminated on the dash while driving the vehicle ?.

QUESTION: No lights have ever come.

If the o2 had a problem you would have a CHECK ENGINE light illumination.

Without having pphysical access to the vehicle it is impossible to make any kind of diagnosis unless the CHECK ENGINE light illuminates. You will need to see a service facility.
