Cadillac Repair: radio ground wire, ground theory, ground source

QUESTION:  I bought a 1990 Fleetwood and the radio worked for awhile. I called previous owner and a mechanic told him the ground  was the problem. How can I fix the ground wire on the radio.

ANSWER: If you want to test your GROUND theory, Simply take a piece of wire and attach it to any metal surface of the radio and touch the other end of the wire to any good ground source and see if the radio works.

What is the problem with the radio ?.

QUESTION:  It worked and then just quit. Its like it has no power to radio, fusees were ok. Just won't work at all. No lights or clock, just dead.
