Cadillac Repair: 1986 cadillac air condition, cadillac deville, dash vents

QUESTION: I have an 86 Cadillac deville the ac and heater is not working the vent works but cant get normal ac or heater to come on had a stereo installed and hasn't seemed to work since then

ANSWER: Does the fan run to blow air from any of the dash vents ?.
