Cadillac Repair: 1973 Eldorado stop temp dash light always on, faulty engine, engine temp

Hi the stop/eng temp light on the dash is on from the time I turn the ignition to start it, until the time I shut it off and pull the key out. Then GEN light is sort of on, it's dim. Bad ground somewhere?

GEN light is most likely a faulty rectifier bridge in the alternator.

The stop engine temp light is a faulty ENGINE TEMP SWITCH.

You will need simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture.
