Cadillac Repair: DRIVER SIDE HOT AIR PASSENGER GETS COLD AIR, cadillac sts, actuator

Question
I HAVE A 98 CADILLAC STS, THE DRIVER SIDE BLOWS HOT AIR WHILE THE PASSENGER SIDE BLOWS COLD AIR WHILE THE TEMPERATURE IS SET AT 60 DEGREES.
I HAVE DONE SOME RESEARCHING AND HAVE EVEN TAKEN A LOOK AT THE PASSENGER SIDE ACTUATOR BEHIND THE GLOVE BOX. IT MOVES ACCORDINGLY TO THE TEMPERATURE AND I WAS WONDERING WHERE THE DRIVER SIDE ACTUATOR IS LOCATED AND IF THAT IS MOST LIKELY  THE PROBLEM

Answer
The drivers side actuator is buried behind  another component that for the life of me I can't think what it is called. This drivers side actuator is a TOTAL NIGHTMARE to replace as it requires partial to total removal of the complete dash assembly.
