My cluster just went out on me i was driving and my whole entire cluster started flickering i cut the car off and when i turned it back on it wasnt working anymore and it started smelling wierd i put in another cluster the long electrical harness is working fine my ABS light,seatbelt,and my brake lights are working but when i stuck the smaller electrical harness in it came on and then i started smelling the funny smell again and it stopped working somebody please help me

Obviously you have a short in one of the wires in the small plug.

You will need simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture.
