Question
QUESTION: Hi, My name is bill I am a mechanic and ran into a problem with my deville I parked it for about a month or two and now I tried to start it and nothing. I checked and sure enough no spark. So I checked all the fuses and connections to the coil packs. I put a crank sensor on about a year ago. Answer
To retrieve the codes:

1. Turn the ignition switch ON. Do NOT start the engine.

2. Simultaneously push and release the OFF and WARMER buttons on the climate control panel or 3 seconds and release them.

3. Codes will appear in the Drivers Information Center (fuel Data Display) in the form of LETTERS & NUMBERS. Along with each code that displays will be the word HISTORY or CURRENT.

4. The display will stop at PCM?

5. Write down EXACTLY as if you were video taping the display everything you see prior to the ECM?

6. Turn ignition OFF and let me know what codes you get.
