Cadillac Repair: 93 caddy sedan deville, turn signals, needle type

Question
QUESTION: I reported that the dash was analog/digital, and speedo was going crazy when NOT under the pressure of the gas pedal. Tranny wouldnt take off in 1st gear, so had to start off in low2. replaced speed sensor, which fixed the take off for a while, but then tranny started slippin out really bad, or acted like it was loosing pressure. when it would slip, i would let off the gas, give it a minute and coast, then apply the gas again. CHANGED the VACUUM MODULATOR, didnt fix it, and now back to problem 1, speedo and 2nd gear. Not to mention, AC was charged and fixed, and now it doesnt blow cold again, just engine hot. power locks dont work except one.  turn signals/hazards wouldnt flash so replaced 4way flasher and reset the battery. turn signals work but still no 'flash' for the hazards....COULD this whole thing be electrical???

ANSWER: Is the speedometer the old style needle type or the newer digital type ?.

Explain in more detail speedo was going crazy ?

A/C leak was most likely NOT fixed and all the freon leaked out.

There are 2 (TWO) flashers, 1 for the hazards and one for the turn signals.

Is or HAS the CHECK ENGINE light ever illuminated while driving the vehicle ?

QUESTION: The speedometer is not needle, but digital. It works up until my speed is levelled out, then goes to random numbers, then to zero.
The a/c had freon put in, but no cold air....1 week later i took it somewhere else and they said charging the a/c was not the same as putting freon in it, and that it needed to be charged.
Any idea where the flasher for the hazards is located?
The check engine light is on more often than not...sometimes the service sss light is on. If I drive in regular (D) drive and i let off the gas and coast for a few seconds tnen the car dies. So I take off in 2 and drive in 3 most of the time...unless i have to take the freeway, and then i drive in (D) and just keep steady pressure on the gas pedal so not to coast and let the car die.

ANSWER: You stated: they said charging the a/c was not the same as putting freon in it, and that it needed to be charged.

Horse hockey. Charging the system MEANS putting freon in it.

Since the CHECK ENGINE light illuminates, Do tou know how to get the codes from the computer. If you do, Let me know what codes you get.

QUESTION: Horse Hockey huh? Interesting to know.  So what did they charge me  $85 for when freon is $7-8 per can? hmm...

I tried getting the codes a few times, but it just doesnt give me anything. I can get to step one, but after that it's kind of non-responsive...I think...or i'm just doing it wrong!
