Cadillac Repair: 2001 Deville DHS Intermittent Stalling, deville dhs, cadillac deville

Question
I have a 2001 Cadillac Deville DHS 4.6 L Northstar and have been experiencing intermittent stalling. Sometimes after a stop and then a turn around a cornor, but sometimes when driving along at 30 to 40 MPH. No codes are coming up, so I have been thinking water in the gas and have added dry gas, but have not run the full tank through yet. Also had the plugs changed and a new gas filter installed. Other then that, a new battery about 6 months ago, oil changes and no other engine work.

Answer
The most common problem is a blackish sticky residue buildup in and around the throttle plate area that needs to be cleaned out.

You will need simple procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture. I do not have a website so you will have to e-mail: onlineautohelp@msn.com in order to obtain the information.
