QuestionQUESTION: Hi my battery went completely dead I have since recharged and everything works great except the power windows I check the circuit breaker and it is ok,is there a fuse that controls them as well ,or is there a way to check system.
ANSWER: Check the fuses in the trunk fuse box. Check the DRVMDL fuse 10 amp, PWR WDO circuit breaker 30 amp.
Do NOT use a test light. Use a digital volt meter to be sure that you are measuring battery voltage on both sides of the fuses.
A test light will illuminate on any voltage and if you have what is called a back feed of voltage the test light will illuminate but the voltage will NOT be battery voltage.
You will need Electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture.
