Cadillac Repair: 98 SEVILLE SLS, one in the trunk, distributor cap

I NEED TO KNOW WHAT TO CHANGE FOR A COMPLETE TUNE UP, WHAT IS THE NEW NAME FOR THE DISTRIBUTOR CAP FOR THE NEWER MODELS..

Answer
There is no distributor cap. Ignition to the spark plugs is provided by ignition coils.

About all you need to do is replace the spark plugs, Spark plug wires and do NOT use the CHEAP ones, Replace the air filter and a general all around look over of the engine compartment. I would replace the  serpentine belt that runs around the alternator, and other devices and put the old one in the trunk as a spare in case you happen to break a belt while out of town.
