Cadillac Repair: 1990 DeVille, vacuum line, vacuum hose

QUESTION: Is it possible to turn the Check engine light off?
I found a small vacuum hose disconnected at one side of the throttle body I plugged it and my check engine light came on, so I unplugged the hose but the check engine light still on.

Let's check for fault CODES. Plug that vacuum line back ON the engine.

1. Ignition key ON, Engine NOT running.

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER buttons on your climate control panel for 3 seconds and release them.

3. Codes in the form of LETTERS & NUMBERS will appear on the fuel data screen and with each code the word HISTORY or CURRENT will appear.

4. The screen will stop and display ECM ? or PCM ?.

5. Turn OFF ignition switch.

6. Tell me what codes you get and if they are HISTORY or CURRENT.
