Subaru Repair: Overheating mystery, subaru, service

Question
97 Legacy GT with intermittent overheating, only with the  a/c on but not every time.
I had the leaky a/c condenser replaced a couple months ago. After that it worked fine but a few weeks later, on a real hot day, the car overheated. Have had the thermostat and the engine coolant temp sensor replaced. It overheated again, and the last time I pulled over and popped the hood, and both fans were on and the upper hose had pressure.
Don't know if this matters but before the first time it o'heated, I noticed the a/c seemed REALLY cold, almost frigid. Parked in my drive, the a/c cycles off and on, but of course I can't tell when I'm driving.
In normal driving, there is no problem.
Any ideas really appreciated!

Answer
Bob,

Most likely you have blown head gaskets.  You can replace everything around them until there is nothing left to do or have a Subaru shop local to you have a look, not a general repair shop mind you but a Subaru expert.  i really want to caution that until its repaired I would suggest keeping the miles down or you could take a very repairable situation and turn it into one thats very costly in the way of overheated oil rings or warped heads and block

You can read about it here.
