Cadillac Repair: 92 fleetwood: digital A/C control panel not lighting up, running kind, c control

noticed that my A/C control panel was not lighting up intermittently a few weeks back. Now it's totally out. I can't run any diagnostics because I can't "see" the data any longer.  What gives here ? Motor is running kind of rough as well. All this happened after the battery went flat for a month and then was recharged ( 2 amp trickle ) and the car re-started. Thanks very much
