Cadillac Repair: Cadillac deVille, fuel mileage, cadillac sedan deville

Can you tell me the real fuel mileage of a 1990 Cadillac Sedan deVille, I just bought one with 127,000 miles on it and the computer on the car shows 16.7 for City driving and on flat Freeways it reads 22mpg average, I don't think the car computer is right.

That computer read out is ONLY an estimate and is NOT to be relied on as actual fuel mileage as it is calculating fuel used even when you are at an idle speed and stopped at red lights, stop signs, etc. It is just an overall average.

They should have SHOT the guy who put that in the vehicle.
