QuestionQUESTION: I have a 95 cadillac eldorado which has a slight lope in the motor at idle almost like a miss I have replaced the plugs and wires and it is still there the check engine light has come on and p036 and p039 codes have come up , help please!!!!
ANSWER: when each code displays the word HISTORY or CURRENT also displays with EACH CODE. Which codes are HISTORY and which are CURRENT ?.
P036 = EGR pintle fault.
P039 = Overdrive problem with the transmission.

QUESTION: both say history but I reset and cleared the codes to see which would reappear if any and these 2 come up in the beginning and the check engine light comes on after you drive approx. 5 miles
