Cadillac Repair: Cadillac brakes, electrical schematics, rear brakes

Question
I have a 1997 Deville that needs new rear brakes. They look like standard disc brakes but the parking brake is connected in a way I have never seen before. What is the procedure for replacing the rear pads?
