Cadillac Repair: 1986 cadillac instr. panel on and off, electrical schematics, gauge cluster

ok just got a 86 eldorado with 43k, my issue is with this car is the gauge cluster go's on and off along with climate control, what do I do to fix this problem .

IS or HAS the CHECK ENGINE light on the dash ever illuminated while driving the vehicle ?.

Do you see any letters in the fuel display such as:

-c
-d
-151

If you do NOT have a check engine light ON or any of the above 3 items, The most likely cause is the BCM computer. However simple tests need to be performed.
