Cadillac Repair: level control compressor, electrical schematics, air shocks

Question
I recently noticed that my air shocks on my 2002 cadillac deville were not working properly. i figured out that my compressor isnt pumping air in to my shocks, so i located my level comtrol compressor maxi fuse. it was blown, so i replaced it with a new one and it blew instantly. any suggestions on what may be causing the fuse to blow.

Answer
Could be a shorted air pump or a shorted HEIGHT SENSOR. Unplug both components and replace the fuse and if the fuse does NOT blow, Plug in the air pump and if the fuse blows, you have a shorted air pump. If the fuse does NOT blow you have a shorted HEIGHT sensor. You will need, If necessary, Electrical schematics and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture.  I do not have a website so you will have to e-mail:

in order to obtain the information.

Has there been ANY KIND of work performed on the vehicle lately or within the past few months and if there HAS, WHAT was done ?.
