QuestionQUESTION: i have a 1993 Cadillac eld. it surges and some times it starts missing and haves no power and stalls out you can start it back up it revs up and then will clear out and run fine for awhile but seems to do it when its hotter
ANSWER: IS or HAS the check engine light ever illuminated on the dash ?. If it HAS, I need to know what fault codes are stored in the computer.
I also need to know whate STATE the vehicle is located in and the CURRENT TEMPERATURE as the sensors read differently depending upon altitude and weather conditions.

QUESTION: im in florida the temp is 83 out the eng. lite came on on time while i was driveing and stayed on until i stoped then the next time i drove it was off i dont think there are codes in the computer but dont know how to cheack it misses or idles unevan all the time but not bad then when youleave it idle for ten min hot. it can start running rough and try to clear out then loses responce the it wont rev up with the gas peadle and then stalls out it sometimes cranks wright back up and runs rough then will rev up then smoth out and run god for awhile
AnswerTo check for CODES:
1. turn ignituion switch to the ON position. Do NOT start the engine.
2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER (fan up ^) buttons on your climate control panel for 3 seconds and release them.
3. Look on your fuel display and you will see LETTERS & NUMBERS appearing and along with EACH LETTER & NUMBER you will see either the word HISTORY or CURRENT.
4. When the display stops at PCM? Turn OFF the ignition key.
5. Let me know what LETTERS & NUMBERS you get and if they are HISTORY or CURRENT.
