Cadillac Repair: car sits low in the back, line couplers, air shocks

Question
hi, my car rode fine at first now after a while it started sitting lower in the back. my first thought was that i needed to rear struts/shocks.One thing i notice is that i can hear something that im pretty sure sounds like an air compressor. It continues running while the car is started. So i need to know what i need to replace, being that the price for struts are high, i wouldn't want to buy them if i didn't need them

Answer
What you are hearing is the AIR PUMP pumping air into the air shocks and there is most likely a broken thin black plastic vacuum line from the AIR PUMP to the shocks that is broken and needs to be repaired and or one of the AIR SHOCKS is leaking.

Take an empty windex bottle and fill it full of very very soapy water and spray the shocks and the air lines to see the bubbles form and this is how you will find you leak that you have to fix.

You can buy the air line couplers and new air line at any auto parts store to fix the leak.
