Cadillac Repair: 1999 CRUISE CADDY, brake switch, caddy

cruise worked fine disengaged the cruise by the use of the break peddle then would not engage again, the car has 64,000 miles tried several times with no luck where do I start first what is usually the item that gets replaced.  Thanks for any advise you can give.

The fault is usually the brake switch UNLESS you hAVE or have SEEN the check engine light illuminate on the dash. You will need several pictures and this websit which is not mine only allows ONE picture, You will have to e-mail: onlineautohelp@msn.com
