QuestionQUESTION: first off thanx for taking the time to read and help. I have 2 problems with my caddy the major one is from time to time it sputters while I drive wanting to shut off the battery is connect right but this happens every so often, next is the gage that marks the fuel jumps up and down and does not keep accurate record.also pulled codes off the car E22,E30,E39,E52,E70,E75,E98 AND F48 ANY help with these would be very much appreciated thanx
ANSWER: The FIRST thing you need to do is CLEAR (erase) ALL these codes and then recheck to see if any of the codes come back and if each code is a CURRENT or HISTORY code.

AnswerE30 is a fault with the IDLE SPEED CONTROL MOTOR circuit.
E98 is the computer seeing a higher than normal engine speed caused by the E30 code.
