Cadillac Repair: 1995 Deville hesitation`, climate control, word history

I have a 1995 Deville.  Recently the check engine light has been coming on,
when it does come on, I can feel a hesitation when I accelerate.  After the
hesitation, I rides smooth again for a while and does the same thing.  Can you
help?  Thank  you.

You will need to access the vehicles fault codes via the climate control panel and see whta codes you get.


1. Ignition switch ON. Engine OFF.

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER (^) buttons on your climate control panel for 3 seconds and release them.

3. Watch the fuel data display and you will see LETTERS and NUMBERS appearing and then the screen will stop.

4. Along with each LETTER & NUMBER that appears will be the word HISTORY OR CURRENT.

5. I need to know what LETTERS & NUMBERS that appear and if the code is HISTORY or CURRENT.

6. Turn OFF ignition switch.
