Cadillac Repair: data loss, automatic braking system, answer need

QUESTION: I am getting codes P047,P107,P137,I032,I033,I034,I037,I039,A037,T072,No SIR,NoRSS-seems to be data loss, intermittent but more frequent, could it be the computer?

ANSWER: Need YEAR and MODEL of vehicle.

The FIRST thing you need o do is CLEAR (erase) ALL these codes from the computer and then recheck to see if any of the codes come back as HISTORY or CURRENT.

QUESTION: "94 Seville- All codes are current because I eresed all codes then drove till this problem reoccured. the codes show as hist. after the car resets. Heater goes to default full blow defrost when this happens and you cannot even shut it off.

ANSWER: EXACTLY HOW did you CLEAR the codes ?.

QUESTION: With the on board diag. went to pcm clear codes pressed yes etc. cleared them all.

You also need to CLEAR the I, A and T codes.

P047 - Instrument panel to PCM (computer) data fault.

P107 = PCM to IPC data fault.

P137 = Loss of Automatic braking system to traction control system.

I032 = Loss of ABS/TCS serial data.

I033 = Loss os SIR data.

I034 = Loss of PCM data.

I037 = Loss of programmer data.

I039 = Ride control system signal fault.

A037 = Loss of IPC serial communication.

To72 = Serial data link fault.


Replace the PCM computer.
