Cadillac Repair: 2001 eldorado etc, memory seats, power seat

Question
The drivers power seat intermittently moves up and all the way forward pinning me to the wheel. I took the side switches off and it still happened. It stays that way for up to 3 days. I finally got it to go back and pulled the fuse. It does have memory seats. passenger seat is ok.

I retired in 2000. However, the 1999 system is identical to the 2001 system and the problem is most likely the control module underthe seat.
