Cadillac Repair: power module, blower fan, relay center

Question
QUESTION: Can you tell me where the power module is located for the blower fan on 92 sedan deville and some idea how I can find out what it looks like, thanks you rated a 10 for putting up with people like me smart but auto dumb

ANSWER: Jim,
No problem Jim. Follow the power lead right to the power module. It's about a foot or two away from the blower motor. I recall it being tucked up under a plastic cover on the firewall.

QUESTION: no power in line that plugs into blower fan under hood fuses good

ANSWER: Jim,
Not sure what to tell you at this point. If you follow the power wire from the blower motor, it leads right to the power module. It's a little hidden but I assure you it's there, where I told you. As far as what it looks like, go to a parts store or the dealer and have them look it up for you and show it to you. Beyond that, I'm kind of at a loss.

QUESTION: thanks for all your help. I did follow lead it went through fire wall behind glove in a box with about 7 relays plug into it swap relays and with my luck no luck. but thanks again

Answer
Jim,
You may have missed the splice in the purple power wire, and followed the wrong leg back to the relay center under the dash. A short distance from the blower motor, the circuit splits. One part goes to the relay center (through the firewall), and the other leg goes to the power module. It's on the firewall just left of the blower motor according to one diagram I found.
