My power steering is lost when parking or moving at slowere speeds what could cause that ?

Could be a couple things but both will require the use of a pressure gauge to diagnose the issue. You'll need to check the rack and the pump output. First thing I'd try is getting the system flushed. I've seen this fix these issues that simply. It's a good, cheap first step. At that point, the shop can also tell if the pump or rack has a problem. really NOT a lot you can do yourself on this one.
