Cadillac Repair: 1999 Cadillac STS Electrical Problem, 1999 cadillac sts, fuse boxes

Turning key to start, power to radio and power windows, but dash and headlights dead, no engine cranking. Waiting, or turning key off/on until dash comes on lets car start. Dash, headlights, and engine can also cut out when driving, requiring same procedure to restore power.

Sounds like an intermittent fault within the electrical ignition switch located on the transmission or corrosion at the batter cable where it attaches to the starter or where the RED wires from the battery go yo the main terminal connectio near the underhood fuse boxes.
