Cadillac Repair: 94 Deville Haunted Carb, smooth as glass, scan tool

Have a 1994 Sedan Deville 4.9L naturally aspirated motor.
It FREAKS out sometimes. Throwing MAT and IAT trouble codes. We think the sensors are bad. Need some advice what to buy to fix. Bro and I think its these sensors are faulty and running the fuel SUPER rich - you can smell it - causing backfire and the like one minute and the next will run smooth as glass.

It's certainly "possible" that the problem is a bad sensor, or even two. If you know someone with a scan tool, it's a fairly easy job to live-check the sensors with it and in that way, you can pin-point which one it is. I'd also check the harness and connectors. Wouldn't be the first time either corrosion or a short of some type caused your exact symptoms.
