Ford: car always stalls when puting it into drive l2 or l1, mote carlo, ford section

hi i have a 1980 mote carlo and everytime i go to drive it it always dies on me like last april i was going to put it into reverse so i put it in reverse and it dies on me what should i do please help me

It sounds like you just need to set the idle up a little but... (There is a screw on the drivers side of the carb that you need to turn right near where the throttle linkage hooks up)  try that ...it should help...
