Cadillac Repair: 99 Cadillac SLS battery, cadillac seville sls, cadillac sls

I recently purchased a 99 cadillac that was running fine. I left it in the parking lot and only drove it 100 feet everyday. After about a couple of weeks, the car wouldn't start. So I tried jumping it. It does not want to start. I even tried racing the other car (ford expedition) for 20 minutes at about 3000 rpm to recharge the cadillac battery. Upon trial, the caddy doesnt start. Then I disconnected the jumper cables.  The battery in the caddy goes very low, lights dim and almost totally dead in less than 1  minute.

I now think the battery must be a bad/old one.  I dont know if I have an original battery in there or an aftemarket one. Can someone tell me what make/model battery I need in this 99 Cadillac Seville SLS?    Thanks

Just call any AUTOZONE or PEP BOYS or any auto parts store and they can tell you what battery you need.

Your problem may be with the alternator, So when you install the new battery of which it needs anyway have the charging system tested where you buy your battery.
