Chrysler Repair: 97 LHS: 20 amp engine controler circuit, throttle positioning sensor, fuse box

Question
"Hi, i have a 1997 Chrysler LHS. i replaced the the tps (throttle positioning sensor) and my car wouldn't start after that...so i was looking at fuses figuring maybe the security feature shut the gas off...wasn't the culprit!...after looking under the hood i found that the 20 amp engine contlr circuit was blown. so i replaced it went to store went to start it and again the 20 amp engine contlr circuit was blown!.. any ideas of what could be causing this? thanks. Chris "

Answer
Hi Chris,
The manuals don't give the named 'purpose' of the fuse specifically but rather they are numbered or lettered. Please describe the underhood fuse box, the array of fuses, to the extent that I can identify which position the fuse in the box that is blowing is located. I don't want to do an answer which is based on the wrong fuse. Also tell me if you have the 3.3 or the 3.5L engine. Does tge fuse blow as soon as you turn the key to 'run' or does it blow only when you try the starter motor?
Thank you,
Roland
