Cadillac Repair: 1993 Cadillac DeVille, gm product, doggone thing

Question
Hello!! Have had repetitive problems w/ Idle Speed Control Motor...replaced it 3 times in a year, buying the part from Advance Auto. Car still acted up...idled high like an airplane sometimes, cutting off while driving at other times. Finally, took it to a specialist in auto electronics. They said E26 code came up & replaced the SAME DOGGONE THING as they said the plunger was getting stuck. They replaced it w/ a GM product (twice the cost!!) & replaced some plug looking thing that goes into the ISC as it was broken/loose. Ok...you'd think the Check Engine Light would be out (as guaranteed) but NOOOO! This morning, it's on. Car runs fine but it only acted up sporadically anyway so it running fine isn't indicative of something not being still wrong. The code F32 comes on but they said that does not affect the performance of the car but the SSS light & the Service Vehicle soon light would stay on as a result of that. Well, I can live w/ that for now but why oh why would the Check Engine light come back on after $505 worth of parts/labor? I'm taking it back tomorrow for another free diagnostic but I'm hoping you may have a suggestion??

Answer
F32 is a communications fault between the ECM computer and the BCM computer. The only way to fix this problem is to replace BOTH the BCM and ECM computer as there are no test procedures stated in the factory service manual for this fault. Replace BOTH computers and this may also fix your E26 code.
