Cadillac Repair: 1995 Cadillac Deville, cadillac deville, throttle plate

Hello! I just recently replaced my battery in my '95 Cadillac Deville, and now, whenever i'm driving, the car will completely turn off and then turn back on a few second later.  When I have it in park and running, it's fine, but when I put it in drive, it shuts down.  Where do you think my problem lies and what should I do?

If what you are saying is that the engine stalls out when you come to a STOP and you can restart the engine anf proceed this is almost always caused by a blackish colored residue that has built up on and around the throttle plate area of where the air enters the engine.

You need to purchase an aerosol can of cleaning agent available at any auto parts store. just ask the person at the counter for it.
