In freezing weather my trunk will open but I cannot close it at all

Answer
VERY common issue on most of the Caddies w/electric pull-downs. The switch gets frozen because of water intrusion and sub-freezing temps. The only thing you can do is thaw the switch. It looks funny really. Hit it with a hair drier for a few seconds and all of a sudden the thing retracts like it's magic!
