Cadillac Repair: Alarm System, alarm system, microchip

I was thinking about buying an alarm system, but someone told me there is no need because my car cannot be stolen. I have a 1996 deville. Is this true, and what would you suggest. If this is not true what kind of alarm system do you recommend?

You do NOT need an alarm system, The vehicle already has one. There is a microchip on your ignition key and is programmed for your specific ignition system. Any other key will not work in the ignition and if they try and break in the vehicle the alarm will go off.

Do NOT out an aftermarket alarm system in the vehicle. You do NOT need it.
