Cadillac Repair: 1990 Biarritz ABS Problem, twilight sentinel, dash panel

Question
QUESTION: I have a 1990 Cadillac Biarritz that has the ABS and the BRAKE light come on when you press the brake pedal fast and firmly. The brakes are also spongy. The lights will not come on when you press the brake pedal slowly. The brakes will stop the car but they are laboring to do it. I really appreciate ANY help! Thanks, Gerald

ANSWER: Just to be sure that we are on the same page, You are referring to an ELDORADO ?.

---------- FOLLOW-UP ----------

QUESTION: Yes, It is an El Dorado, also these are the codes that I have retrieved from the car, They are all history codes: E012, B120, B121, B122, R026 Thanks again, Gerald

Answer
E012 = No distributor signal.

B120 = Twilight sentinel potentiometer problem.

B121 = Twilight sentinel enable problem.

B122 = Dash panel display dimming potentiometer problem.

R026 = Open circuit in the steering column.

What you need to do is CLEAR (erase) all these HISTORY codes and drive the car and see what codes come back as either HISTORY or CURRENT codes.
