Cadillac Repair: caddy, fleetwoods, climate control

my 1988 cadillac fleetwoods check engine light went on and it wont turn off. ive tried pushing the off and warmer buttons at the same time but nuthing happens. ive done it with the car off, and on, what could be the problem?

Answer
1. Ignition switch ON. Engine OFF.

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER buttons on your climate control panel for 3 seconds and release them.

3. Codes will appear on the screen and will stop at .7.0

4. Tell me EXACTLY as if you were video-taping the screen what appears before the .7.0 displays.

5. Turn ignition OFF.
