Cadillac Repair: 98 catera oil cooler, catera, oil cooler

Is there a way to bypass the oil cooler on a 98 catera ? I also have it leaking oil into the coolant an wondered if an external cooler could be added and block off the internal one ?

Hi Mike,

      Bypassing the cooler could be done. But it probably would be harder than fixing the one you have. Plus you need to be sure to get the right size.

      If it were me I would replace the cooler in the top of the engine and not have to worry about it. Bill
