Cadillac Repair: All my electronic gauges went out!, gas gauge, original radio

All of my gauges went out, like the gas gauge the heating and cooling controls and it all happened after my brother tried to install a new stereo in it. I think he touched a wire to some metal and blew some fuses and i was going to replace them on my own and i didn't know if there was a certain kind that I would have to use?

Just use the same style fuses. He most likely blew out the instrument control panel.

Going to the original radio are voltages of 5, 12 and 16 volts and if you use a test light and hook up the wrong wire, You can destroy numerous display components. Re-install the original radio and start checking ALL your fuses to see if you can get everythinh working again.
