Cadillac Repair: Car Running Horrible, camshaft position sensor, cadillac seville

Question
Ok, my car is a 91 Cadillac Seville with a 4.9 Liter. I just did a tune up because the car was running a little rough. And the check engine light was on. Code P041. Which was the code for camshaft position sensor. Well I put new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, ignition control module, and Camshaft position sensor on the car and it started ok. So when I was taking it for a test drive around the block it started acting up. Next thing I knew its sputtering, loping at idle, can barley climb a hill, and shaking seriously bad. The check engine light is off now, and its not throwing any codes, but when I go into self diag I notice that the timing is fluctuating from 0 - 33 on its own at idle, and the pulse width on the injectors in bank B is lower than bank A by about 3ms.

Please help me im going crazy. I had tuned up another Cadillac 3 years ago(a 92 Deville 4.9) and its doing the same thing, so its been sitting ever since.

I like to think of myself as a pretty good mechanic but this has me stumped! Please Help! I cant be the only on e ever to have this problem can I?

Answer
Did you test the new camshaft position sensor in the distributor after you installed it ?. Did you ERASE the code from the computer ?.

Did you test the pick-up coil and the ignition coil while you were in there ?. Recheck your wires for connectivity problems.
