Cadillac Repair: 1995 cadillac eldorado a/c problem, cadillac eldorado, blown fuse

Question
I was driving and the blower motor for the a/c system stopped working.  I have purchased a new one thinking that was the problem.  It still does not work i have followed the wire back to the circuit board that controlls it and would like help in finding out the schematics for it.  I can solder and repair circuit cards so it is not a problem to me.  I just can not find any diagrams on this.  There is no fault codes that come up on the on board computer.  The rear fan unit works fine and the system still gets cool.  Thank you for your help and any pics you can send will help also thank you.

Answer
Hi Craig,

This site doesn't allow sending pictures and it is against copyright laws to to send most information that shops have access to.

That said the best thing you could do is subscribe to alldata.com  and then you will have all the repair info needed to fix the blower problem sent right to your computor. Then it can be printed out and taken to the car.

Other options are ordering a factory manual set from the dealer or Ebay. Or have the dealer photocopy some pages out of the manual for you. They might charge you a couple bucks for that.

If you installed the new blower motor and it still doesn't work then power and ground needs to be checked at the motor as well as the signal wire from the control head for speed. You could have a blown fuse or a bad control head to name a few things but without doing the tests in the manual it could get expensive throwing parts at the problem. Bill
