Cadillac Repair: Fan on a 1988 cadillac Deville, radiator fan, cadillac deville

QUESTION: What may be the problem due to the fact that the fan keep running. If I let it keep running after the car is turned off then it will run my battery down, so I unplug my battery evertime I park & turn the car off.

ANSWER: Which FAN The one at the radiator or the one for the AC that blows air thru the vents on the dash ?

QUESTION: I believe the radiator fan. There are two fans under the hood. One is big & one is small. BOTH keep running when the car is turned off.

One of the 3 relays is at fault. Disconnect one relay and if the fans do NOT stop put the relay back in.

Do this with all 3 relays and the one relay that you remove if the fans stop replace that relay. There used to be a very good electronics technician on this board but he was de-activated by the owners of the site due to differences of opinion.
