Answer
Did you use a vacuum pump to remove all the atmospheric air from the AC system BEFORE you added the freon ?.

Lets check for CODES in the computer.

1. Ignition ON. Engine OFF.

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER buttons on the climate control panel for 3 seconds and release them.

3. CODES in the form of LETTERS and NUMBERS will appear such as E18 or E24 or EE18 or EE24 and then the display will stop at .7.0

4. Turn ignition OFF for 30 seconds.

5. Repeat steps 1 thru 3 above.

6. When you see .7.0  simultaneously push and hold the OFF and HI buttons until you see .0.0 and release the buttons.

7. Repeat step 4.

8. Repeat steps 1 thru 3 above and there should be NO CODES and the display will stop at .0.0

9. Turn ignition OFF and start car and see if AC works.
