Cadillac Repair: 93 Cadillac STS 4.6 Northstar, low oil pressure, cadillac sts

Question
My "low oil pressure" light came on and then the "Stop Engine"  light came on right afterwards. Shortly after that the engine shut off and i coasted to a stop, i put oil in and now it won't start. It clicks once but doesn't crank when i turn the key.

Any  suggestions?

Answer
Locate the single wire that goes to the "S" terminal on the starter, I believe it is purple and see if it is getting battery voltage to the "S" terminal when you try and start the engine. IF you are getting battery voltage to the piuple wire the starter solenoid is most likely faulty. If you are NOT getting battery voltage to the purple wire you have a fault with either the starter relay or the PASS-KEY system.
