Cadillac Repair: 1994 Caddy A/C clutch, center bolt, clutch replacement

Question
QUESTION: The A/C clutch went out on my 94 Caddy and I am trying to replace it myself but it looks a little more complicated than a normal clutch replacement. It appears that it takes a special socket tool to remove the outer plate. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
John McMurria

ANSWER: YES, It requires special tools.

QUESTION: I know it requires special tools and I have a puller if I could just get the center bolt/stud out. The base of the center bolt/stud looks kinda like a skeleton key hole shape. Does this have to be removed first? I fabricated a socket to fit this but a little unsure about it. Can you give me a little detail about removing it?
Thanks,

Answer
On the 94 the first thing that comes off after the belt is a 14mm nut that is threaded on the inner shaft and then you use the special puller to remove the clutch assembly.

It is possible that someone put a replacement aftermarket compressor on the vehicle which is different than GM's.
