Shes still over-heating.  Is there a way to bleed the air off the head?

Answer
You bleed out the air just as you would any older vehicle by raising the idle speed to about 1200 rpm's and turning on the heater and make sure yu are getting heat inside the vehicle.

The cooling fans don't come ON until the temp reaches approx 220 degrees Farenheit. So if the fans come ON at 230 and cools down the engine, I see no problem.
