Hyundai: Stereo problem with Sonata 2000 model, car jump, electrical system

Hi,

I recently had to get my car jump started as my battery went dead. After that my stereo hasn't been working well. The display doesn't come up indicating the tracks etc and sometimes no sound comes. Other times the sound comes but it's feeble and the volume control doesn't have any effect on it. The display screen is lit but nothing is displayed on it.

Hi Suman, its no fun driving around with no music so lets see......well this problem didn't start till the battery went dead. If everything except for your radio is fine then I would probly say have your battery and electrical system tested by a qualified technician. If everything checks out then you probably just need a new battery.
